Is Andrew currently accepting new clients?

Andrew frequently has a client portfolio which is near capacity. To submit your information for consideration, please contact us. In the event that your project is not suited to Andrew’s skill set and experiences, Andrew may be able to refer you to another consultant.

How long does a typical business efficiency project last?

The duration varies from project to project. For a typical small to mid sized business, Andrew will spend the first 60 days collecting data, conducting interviews and spending several days on site. A written analysis will then be delivered after a 30 day data assimilation period. Following the delivery of his recommendations, Andrew will be available for ongoing consulting and implementation assistance for another 90 days. The total retainer period is 180 days.

With projects requiring more intensive involvement, multiple on site visits and/or visits of a longer duration may be needed.

Does Andrew accept short term consulting projects?

While Andrew prefers long term, ongoing contracts, he also works with short term business efficiency evaluations and welcomes all inquiries.

How quickly can you provide me with a proposal?

Our approach is tailored specifically to your company. We believe that each client’s unique situation requires more than just a prepackaged strategy. Before the cost can be established, our first priority will be carefully assessing your needs & goals for the project. If you can provide us with the information we need, Andrew will have all the details, including investment options to you within 24 hours.

Do you charge hourly or daily rates for your efficiency consulting?

No. We charge by the project, which we believe is the fairest and most equitable arrangement for each client.

I like to control my costs with hourly or daily rates. What benefits do project based fees give me?

  • There is never a “meter running” with the pressure to “find something for the consultant to do” as long as the time meter is ticking.
  • The client does not have to make an investment decision every time the client would like the consultant’s help.
  • The client’s employees can freely email or call on the consultant without worrying about increasing costs or having to go to the boss for approval each time.
  • The consultant can take on more work within the project’s scope without the risk of the client assuming the consultant is trying to increase his billable hours.
  • The best interests of the consultant are to finish the project quickly, not to stretch it out or fill previously projected time (even though it is no longer necessary to spend that time).
  • There is a fixed cap on the investment right from the outset.

How much on average does an efficiency consulting analysis cost for a small to mid sized business?

Costs may vary significantly from project to project based on numerous factors including project complexity, the amount of on-site time required, and travel time. Please contact us to obtain a proposal specifically tailored to your company’s project.

Do you offer different payment options?

We offer two options:

  • 50% of the total fee is due on acceptance with the remaining 50% due in 45 days (regardless of the length of the project).
  • 5% discount for full payment on acceptance.

Are your fees negotiable?

No. We typically, however, provide several options as part of each proposal with each tier offering a different level of value. Any fee reduction will coincide with a reduction in value.

Do you accept payments subject to conditions to be met upon completion of the project?

No. Our project based fees are required up front and are non refundable.

Do you offer any kind of guarantees?

We strive for complete client satisfaction. In the event that you are not fully satisfied with the quality of our work, please let us know so we can remedy the situation.

Do you offer discounted rates to non profit organizations?

Each year, we take on several pro bono projects for charitable non profit organizations. NPOs are welcome to apply for consideration. Please contact us for more information.

Do you know other consultants you could recommend?

We regularly make referrals to other business consultants. If you are a business seeking a reputable consultant, please contact us with the details of your project and we will do our best to assist you. If you are a business consultant and would like to be included in our referral process, please contact us.
